Had to share with you a company that my friend just started...Bersatu Designs! 

Not only is the jewelry absolutely adorable, but I love the story behind this company...Bersatu seeks to provide income generating activities for Indonesians through the creation of simple, chic, Bali-inspired jewelry and accessories. All the jewelry is handmade by local Indonesians....so not only are you going to look cute with this jewelry, but you are also helping a community....win, win.

Thanks to Hopsy at Monograms & Manicures- I just discovered Haymarket Designs...my search of looking for adorable monogrammed gifts is over...August is just around the corner and I'm definitely putting one of the Haymarket picture frames and a tray on my birthday wish list. I think the chevron and clover designs are my favorite...what do you think?

It's a Wrap...

Happy Friday! This week has been so stormy and gross in San Francisco- but I must admit, I love the excuse to stay inside and hunker down. I make the compost cookies earlier this week and am looking forward to wrapping them up for my friends...not sure what they will think of the Reeses, Raisinets, Peanut Butter M&Ms, malt balls, pretzel and Frito's mix (do you think I went a little overboard? the cashier at Walgreens looked at me as if I was a total slob.)

It's Friday...Keep Calm!

I couldn't be happier that it's almost the weekend. My dear friend Marjorie is in town from the east coast and we are heading to Inverness tomorrow. The weather in San Francisco has been gorgeous lately, can't wait to get out and enjoy it.

You all must think that I spend my days roaming thru Etsy...well, that's kinda true, but I just can't get enough- every time I log on, find something else that I love.

Dish Towels

Since I am attempting to become more of a domestic diva in 2011- I need to start sprucing up my kitchen. There's no way that I can cook up all these recipes when my kitchen is drab and boring. I found these dish towels that will definitely do the trick to heat things up in my kitchen...and would look smashing on your table for a dinner party. I just love them...and etsy too of course!

Thanks to Erin over at Elements of Style, I was able to discover the 20 x 200 site...full of posters and gift ideas for under $20, this place is exactly where you need to be to get your christmas shopping done...or just get started. I just can't get enough of these prints too- would put spice in your normal drab room in a second.
